PRAYER

Prayer for healing or personal needs is available at the front of the auditorium.

At the conclusion of the second service on Sundays and after the Wednesday night service, you can come forward to have us pray for you.

We also have Prayer Request Cards available at Guest Services. And during the week you can call our church office [623-872-4998] or email the Prayer Department at prayer4u@cotw.org to include your prayer requests or praise reports.

cOUNSELING

It is our desire for our church members to receive the care and attention they need when facing personal trials.

We offer counseling through the Pastoral Ministries Department for all tithing partners of the church. All counseling sessions are for Biblical guidance only. No professional services in behavioral health are provided. We will refer counselees to Christian counseling agencies when deemed necessary.

Please fill out our confidential Counseling Request Form, available at the Guest Services or call our church office [623-872-4998] to request counseling. Once the form is reviewed and approved, an appointment will be scheduled.

PASTORAL CARE

We desire to assist our church family with Pastoral Care, bearing your burdens together.

Let us know your request for hospital visitation, pre-marital counseling, or any other ministry care. Please call the church office or fill a Ministry Request Card at Guest Services.

You may also get Biblical and Spiritual direction and insight by e-mailing pastoralhelp@cotw.org. Please allow at least 48 hours for a reply.

If a church member is in a serious crisis or in need of immediate assistance, an appointment can be made by calling the office at 623-872-4998.

MEMBERSHIP

We would love for you to become part of the family at Church On The Word!

We have created a class for membership that will answer your questions, help you understand everything that we believe, and let you see every part of the vision, purpose, and strategy of our Church.

To become a member of COTW we ask everyone to attend our membership class and dinner. This class is offered every quarter of the year. In this 2-hour class our pastors share in detail our beliefs, our vision, our story, our purpose, and our strategy.

WEDDINGS

The marriage ceremony is one of the most sacred and beautiful services offered by the local church.

To help you in your planning, we provide a COTW Wedding Policy for ceremonies held at Church On The Word. This policy outlines wedding fees, dates and the availability of the facilities.

Weddings will be performed only when either the bride or groom is a member "in good standings" at Church On The Word. The requirement of membership is that the member attends church faithfully and faithfully tithes to the church. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
